Pangsit Goreng is deep fried dumpling/wonton, filled with a meat mixture, in this case shrimp.
It is normally used as a starter, but also fills up the buffet with a rice table.
The folding of the pastry can be somewhat daunting, but then again experienced cooks and Indonesians do it so fast, you can’t even follow it with your eyes.
We fill the Pangsit up with quality shrimp and deep fry it right before putting it in the freezer.
